학과소개
본 학과는 1975년 1월21일 사범대학 음악과에 대학원 석사과정 음악학과가 인가되었고 1980년 사범대학 음악과에서 음악대학으로 독립되었다. 그 후 음악대학이 발전함에 따라 대학원 석사과정도 기악과와 성악과가 분리되어 오늘에 이르기까지 성악과 독립체제로 운영되고 있다. 본 학과가 지향하는 교육목표는 본 대학원의 교육목표에 근간하여 다음과 같은 구체적인 교육목표를 설정하고 있다.
첫째, 본 학과는 전문적인 성악교육뿐 아니라 전문적 이론을 집중적이며 심도 있고, 탐구적인 연구로 성악실기와 접목시킴으로써 고도의 성악예술을 표출할 수 있는 기량을 배양하여 유능한 성악 예술가와 성악지도자로서 국가와 지역사회의 음악문화 발전에 이바지함은 물론 바야흐로 국제화 시대를 맞아 국제무대에 도약할 수 있는 자질을 양성함을 목표로 한다.
둘째, 이미 학부에서 숙련된 교양과 인격교육을 더욱 심층적으로 연마하여 국가와 사회가 요구하는 최상의 교양인, 사회인으로서 정의롭고 창의적이며 봉사정신을 지닌 철저한 실천의지를 배양시켜 완숙한 지도적 인격자를 양성한다.
Introduction
Graduate studies program of the Department was first established under the School of Education in 1975, and separated to an independent College of Music in 1980. Then the program was divided into instrumental and vocal, and it has been operating independently to this day. The educational goals of the department, which is based on the goals of the Graduate School, are as follows: First, by combining performance skills and concentrated theoretical studies, students are trained to acquire strong academic capabilities in addition to a high level of achievement in performance, thus contributing to the arts and culture of the international music world as professional performers and music educators. Secondly, by nurturing intellectuals to become well-educated leaders in their fields, thus help them to be able to serve the community and society./p>
